Marlo Hardy, Manager, Messinger Fountain Hills Mortuary, is a Licensed Funeral Director, Licensed Embalmer, and has been with Messinger Mortuaries since 1992. Born in Illinois, he was around funeral service at an early age, as his parents owned a funeral home in Illinois and later in a small community in South Dakota. After completing high school, Marlo went on to study pre-med for two years at South Dakota State University. He continued his education at Worsham College of Mortuary Science in Chicago and, after graduation, returned to South Dakota to work in the family business. Marlo has one daughter and a grandchild. He has traveled extensively – to Australia, New Zealand, England and Ireland to further his knowledge of funeral customs and practices. He is a member of various, local Chambers of Commerce and an active member of the Fountain Hills Rotary Club.

Thomas J. Blakesley, Licensed Funeral Director, Licensed Embalmer. Tom has been with Messinger Mortuaries since 1998. He is a graduate of Simmons School of Embalming and Mortuary Science in Syracuse, NY. Tom was born in upstate New York and currently resides in Fountain Hills, AZ, with his two daughters, Allyx and Taylor.

Marie Anderson, Advanced Planning Counselor, joined Messinger Mortuaries in May 2010. She previously worked in advanced planning in the funeral profession in Oregon and Washington. Marie was born in Portland, Oregon. Her extensive career includes experience in the mortgage brokerage industry and geriatric nursing care. She is a single mother with two adult children living in Phoenix, Arizona.
