Ken Messinger is the President of Messinger Payson Funeral home. He graduated from San Francisco School of Mortuary Science in 1980 and is a licensed funeral director and embalmer. Ken grew up working in the family business.
Mark Waldrop, Manager, Messinger Payson Funeral Home, designated broker of Mountain Meadows Memorial Park. Mark became a licensed funeral director and embalmer in 1969. He has been with Payson Funeral Home since 1986. Mark serves on the local Hospice Advisory Board and is a Commissioner on the Town of Payson Planning and Zoning Commission.
Diane Waldrop, Office Manager and Associate Broker for Mountain Meadows Memorial Park. She has been with Payson Funeral Home since 1986. Diane is a member of the Rim Country Literacy Board and a board member of Rim Country Optimist Association.
Steve Christensen, Advanced Planning Counselor, recently joined the staff of Messinger Payson Funeral Home. Steve and his wife Karen both grew up and graduated from high school in the southern border town of Douglas, Arizona. By the mid 1980s, they found themselves in Payson, Arizona where they raised their son and daughter. "Raising two of our children in a smaller, tight knit community that shared our values, and where we could sit down together every night to a family meal, was always our dream." Another dream realized was owning and operating a business of their own. Steve now serves the Messinger family in the field of advanced funeral planning and finds it rewarding to help individuals and families in that regard.
Dennis Johnson, Licensed Cremationist, Mountain Meadows Memorial Park. He joined the Messinger Payson Funeral Home staff in 1996. He and his wife, Robin, have two sons and reside in Payson, AZ.
Scott Dyer, Assistant Manager, Messinger Payson Funeral Home, is a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. He is a 2007 graduate of the Mortuary Science Program of Mesa Community College. Scott is an active member of the Rotary Club of Payson where he serves as president for the 2010-11 term. Scott joined the Messinger staff in 2006. Scott has been married for over 17 years to his wife, Colleen. They have two teenage daughters.
