Ken Messinger is the President of Messinger Payson Funeral home. He graduated from San Francisco School of Mortuary Science in 1980 and is a licensed funeral director and embalmer. Ken grew up working in the family business.
Mark Waldrop, Manager, Messinger Payson Funeral Home, designated broker of Mountain Meadows Memorial Park. Mark became a licensed funeral director and embalmer in 1969. He has been with Payson Funeral Home since 1986. Mark serves on the local Hospice Advisory Board and is a Commissioner on the Town of Payson Planning and Zoning Commission.
Diane Waldrop, Office Manager and Associate Broker for Mountain Meadows Memorial Park. She has been with Payson Funeral Home since 1986. Diane is a member of the Rim Country Literacy Board and a board member of Rim Country Optimist Association.
Doug Waldrop, Advanced Planning Counselor, Messinger Payson Funeral Home. He joined the staff of the funeral home in 2000. Doug graduated with a Master’s Degree in Science from Western Kentucky State University. He taught high school science for 28 years, primarily in Scottsdale, AZ. Doug is an ordained minister, a cemetery broker and began his career in pre-need funeral insurance 20 years ago. Doug and his wife, Becky, have been married for 52 years. They have three children, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Debbie Pownall, Advanced Planning, Messinger Payson Funeral Home. She has been associated with the funeral home since 1987, working as an apprentice embalmer, crematory operator and within all aspects of the cemetery industry. She currently helps families with their pre-need planning and cemetery needs.
Dennis Johnson, Licensed Cremationist, Mountain Meadows Memorial Park. He joined the Messinger Payson Funeral Home staff in 1996. He and his wife, Robin, have two sons and reside in Payson, AZ.
Scott Dyer, 2007 graduate of the School of Mortuary Science, Mesa Community College, Mesa, AZ. He joined the Messinger staff in 2006 and recently relocated to Payson, AZ in 2007. He is currently working on his embalming and funeral director internships. Scott and his wife of 14 years, Colleen, have two daughters, Courtney and Brandi.
