Ann Plonski, 71, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 20, 2019 at her home in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Ann was born in and grew up in Saugerties, New York, the eldest daughter of Leo and Frances Minkler. In 1983, Ann met and fell in love with Walter T. Plonski, who she married in 1990. Shortly thereafter, Walter and Ann relocated to Seattle, Washington, where they lived and worked for 27 years. Recently, Walter and Ann retired and moved to Scottsdale, Arizona.
Ann very much enjoyed the beach, and she and Walter spent many of their well-earned vacations in Vieques, the Bahamas, and Belize. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Ann was predeceased by her father, Leo Minkler and her younger sister, Pamela Rollins.
Surviving are Ann’s husband, Walter; her Mother, Frances Minkler, of Voorhees, New Jersey; her two sons, Josh Benjamin (Maria) of Duvall, WA, and Jason Benjamin (Deirdre), of Haddonfield, New Jersey. Also surviving are her four grandchildren, Madelyn, Harper, Courtland, and Tague.
The family plans a private memorial service. Contributions in Ann’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
