Annabelle Kanak (Dvorak), 92, of Scottsdale, AZ, passed away September 2, 2019. She was born March 15, 1927 to James and Josephine in Chicago, Illinois. She is preceded in death by her husband Norman, her siblings Ben (Sophie) Dvorak, Gert (Tony) Zolna, Lucille (John) Murgas, Lorraine (Dick) Burke, James (Lois) Dvorak, Marian (Tom) Lloyd, and George (Eleanor) Dvorak. She is survived by her son Jeff and his wife Betsy Kanak and their two children Shiane and Skyler, son Glenn and his wife Julie Kanak, their two children, Ashley and Mitchell, her twin sister Rita McGinn, Edward Dvorak (Alice) and Elaine Jaun (Jim).
Annabelle had a strong passion for golf which even included a hole in one. She spent over 5,000 hours volunteering at Granite Reef Senior Center which she received a commendation for. She was also a dedicated member to her Al-Anon group. Her love for her dogs: Buddy, Marley and Lily was immeasurable. Mass will be held on Friday, September 13, 2019 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 5045 E Thomas Rd, Phoenix, AZ at 10am.
