Charles Anthony Cortesi passed away on August 6th, 2019, at the Eckstein Center Hospice of the Valley in Scottsdale, Arizona, from complications due to pancreatic cancer at the age of 67.
Charles, who was affectionately known to all as "Chuck", was born on September 18th, 1951, to Mary (Conci) Cortesi and Reno Cortesi Sr. in Concord, California.
Chuck was a man who loved his family, and it brought him a pure joy to provide for them. He loved spending family time together, especially for large Sunday gatherings to eat pasta, watch football, and yell at the 49ers on tv.
Chuck worked in the car business for forty years as a general and finance manager. It was a job he loved and took pride in. His work ethic and dedication to his trade were incomparable, and his children still credit him for instilling this in them, something they take pride in and hold dear.
What Chuck will be remembered for most, was his indelible sense of humor. Chuck made everyone laugh, even if he only met you for a minute. His quick wit and bold attitude about life left an impression on everyone he came in contact with and quickly became contagious.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Sue (Asti) Cortesi, his three children, Christopher Cortesi (April), Trisha Pippitt, Ryan Pippitt (Aspen), and his three grandchildren, Kaylah, Teagan (Audrey) and Caitlin, his older brother Reno Cortesi Jr. (LaVerne) and his best friend Doug Easton (Angie) plus many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A private family celebration will be held at a later time.
