Chuck Bailey, 79, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away on June 7, 2018. A.C. “Chuck” Bailey was born on January 9, 1939 in San Diego, CA. He grew up in Pasadena, CA where, as teenagers, met his wife Judy. He was a star athlete in high school and college, and at 6’5” was a natural basketball player. He was inducted into the Point Loma University Athletic Hall of Fame in 1988 for baseball and basketball. He graduated in 1960 with a BA in Business. His first career began with Dun & Bradstreet as a reporter, working his way up to District Manager in Miami, FL. He moved the family to Paradise Valley, Arizona in 1977 where he began his second career with New York Life as an agent / financial advisor. He was active in Rotary and had over 40 years of perfect attendance. He and Judy also owned The Yellow Rose Western Wear in Old Town Scottsdale for 17 years. During his active years, Chuck played a mean game of golf and enjoyed hunting with his buddies and his boys. He is survived by his wife, their children (Doug, Dave and Karen) and their children’s families, all of whom he loved very much.
