Joseph (Joe) Petronzio, 83, of Anthem, AZ passed away on June 2, 2019. Joe was born July 24, 1935 in Jersey City, NJ to Joseph and Mary Petronzio. He was the youngest of four children. Joe served two years in the U.S. Army and was so proud to be a veteran. Joe married his wife, Rose Marie, in 1956 and shared 62 years of marriage. They were blessed with a son, Mark, and a granddaughter, Ciara. He was the most caring man with the biggest heart, always putting others before himself. He was happiest while spending time with his family and watching the New York Giants play football. Joe and Roe were very involved in their church, St. Rose, where Joe served as an usher. Joe will be remembered for his caring and loving disposition, but most importantly for how much he loved his wife, son, and granddaughter. Joe was a light in the lives of so many people and an important role model to his family. Joe is survived by his wife, Rose Marie, son, Mark, and granddaughter, Ciara. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Rose Philippine Duchesne in Anthem, AZ on Thursday, June 6th at 12:00 pm, as well as a Military Burial Service on on Wednesday, June 12th at 9:30 am at The National Memorial Cemetery in Cave Creek, AZ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of the Valley in Joe's name.
