Lorraine Anna (Kaelberer) Fercho

April 13, 1930 ~ October 5, 2018 (age 88)
Lorraine Fercho passed away peacefully on October 5, 2018, at Westminister Village in Scottsdale, Arizona. She was born April 13, 1930, in New Salem, North Dakota. After graduating from high school, Lorraine moved to Fargo, attended Dakota Business College and worked at Moorhead State in Moorhead, Minnesota. She met her future husband, Roger, at Evangelical United Brethren Church. They were married on December 28, 1956. Lorraine and Roger, moved to Minneapolis where their four children were born. The family later moved to Brookfield, Wisconsin, where they lived until he retired. Lorraine, in addition to raising her four children, was very active in the church and P.E.O. Sisterhood, where she served as President of P.E.O. in Scottsdale, Arizona. Roger and Lorraine enjoyed spending the winter months in Scottsdale, Arizona and summer months at their lake home in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. She was extremely involved in all her families’ activities and enjoyed bridge, golf, reading and sewing in her free time. Lorraine is survived by her loving husband, J. Roger, children Bradley (Ellen) Fercho, Steven (Kristy) Fercho, Kathleen (Michael) Aykroid, and Rebecca (Stephen) Ambrosius and grandsons Brian Fercho, Robert (Ashley) Aykroid, Matthew Fercho, Ryan Aykroid, Adam Ambrosius and Michael Aykroid, Jr., sister Dorothy Becker and brother, Robert Kaelberer and many loving nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Hilda Kaelberer, siblings, Henry Kaelberer, Betty Jane Otte, and Donald Kaelberer. The family would like to thank the staff at Westminster Village for their wonderful care and support. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Westminster Village, 12000 N. 90th St., Scottsdale at 11:00am on Saturday, October 20th. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Valley Presbyterian Church Foundation or Westminster Village Foundation, both in Scottsdale.
