Matthew David Chamberlain left us on December 3rd, 2019, in Phoenix, Arizona, at the young age of 19. He is now in the loving arms of both his Heavenly Father God and his Earthly Father Dave.
“Matt” packed a lifetime of living during his brief time on this Earth. Known for his fun-loving nature and keen wit, his enthusiasm for life was contagious. He could instantly light up a room with fun, love, and laughter. Matt lived an “all-in” life. He was bold, courageous and selfless. A thrill seeker, when he found a passion, he put his entire heart into it.
Matt was a leader. He dreamed big and planned for great things. He was determined to be an entrepreneur and was taking college business and advertising classes in hopes of achieving those dreams.
Matt had a deep love for animals and cherished his dogs, Buddy and Dakota. An avid horseman and gifted colt trainer, he had a close bond with his Arabian Horse, Little Fellow, whom he broke, trained and loved. At age 16, less than a year after he began riding, Matt won the top prize in an endurance race in New Mexico where he competed against many experienced adults. His many other passions, included camping, off-roading, fishing, motorcycling, dirt-biking and skateboarding. Most of all, he loved spending time with his close friends.
Matt was a loving and protective son to his Mother, Diana. He is also survived by his “sister” Kasey Pinnell, Grandmother Helen Krebaum, Grandfather Don Helke, and Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. He will be deeply missed by countless friends whose lives he touched, including and especially Trace Telepo and Wyntur Zweygardt.
The family is comforted in knowing that Matt is reunited in Heaven with his father, Dave, who preceded him in death.
Services will be held on December 18th at 10:00 am at Impact Church in Scottsdale, followed by a Celebration Luncheon at the Princess Gold Room. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arizona Humane Society.
