Ms. Rhonda Hyacinthe, age 67, passed at Eckstein Center Hospice of the Valley in Scottsdale, AZ, on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 after battling Cholangiocarcinoma (Gallbladder Cancer).
She was born December 22, 1951, in Phoenix, AZ as Rhonda L. Woods. As a teenager, she graduated from Eldolfo Camarillo High School in Camarillo, California. She made her way back to Phoenix, AZ after high school, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree at Arizona State University, starting her career as a Program Manager and establishing herself as a Phoenician. As she furthered her profession she never limited herself to one expertise. A woman with many talents such as glass blowing, wine connoisseur, knitting, photography, cooking and making/designing jewelry, just to name a few. She turned one of her hobbies into a business; Jewelry by Ronnda, was formed making and selling handmade custom jewelry. She loved to travel and enjoyed doing so w family and friends often. In 2013, she packed herself and Kia (her Chihuahua) up and moved to Portland, OR. After 5 years, she decided home was where the heart is. Moving back to Scottsdale, AZ in 2018, she was once again close to her dearest family and friends as well as her only son and grandson.
Survivors include son James Dailey, grandson Jameson Dailey, Daughter-in-law Tana Dailey, sister Michelle Woods and numerous family and friends. She was preceded in death by parents Jim and Muriel Woods, brothers Victor and Ronald Woods and Sister Tanya. Dalton.
