Shirley A. Pearson, 84, of Scottsdale passed away on December 12, 2019. Shirley was born in Minneapolis Minnesota on July 6, 1935 to Frederick and Gladys Bolstad. Shirley is survived by her husband of 63 years, Myron Pearson, three children, Pam Stram (Bob) of Winfield, IL , Brian Pearson ( Lisa) of Mesa, AZ, Todd Pearson ( Annette ), of Lowell, MI, seven grandchildren, Mark Stram, Emily Stram, Tyler Pearson, Hallie Pearson, Audrey Pearson, Ethan Pearson, Brendan Pearson, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Fred Bolstad.
Shirley had many life-long friends that appreciated her kindness, warmth and wisdom. Passionate about her quilting, Shirley loved sharing quilts, table runners and other quilted pieces with her family and friends. The quality and beauty of these artistic creations, were recognized by the many quilting organizations to which Shirley belonged to, both in Michigan and Arizona.
Being a person of faith, Shirley took great comfort in her Savior Jesus Christ. She was a member of La Casa de Cristo Lutheran Church in Scottsdale, AZ. Prior to moving to Arizona, Shirley was a long time member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, January 24th, at La Casa de Cristo Lutheran Church 6300 East Bell Road, Scottsdale, AZ. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to La Casa de Cristo Lutheran Church.
