Al Forte, 73, of Cave Creek, AZ passed away at his residence on February 15, 2021. Al was born in California and raised in Detroit, MI by the late Ermine and Albert Forte. Al Forte, 73, of Cave Creek, AZ passed away at his residence on February 15, 2021. Al was born in California and raised in Detroit, MI by the late Ermine and Albert Forte. He was the eldest of two children and graduated from Detroit Catholic Central High School in 1965. After graduating high school, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Michigan State University and later went on to graduate with a law degree from the Detroit College of Law. Al and his wife Laurie married in 1987 and were blessed with one child, Jamie Anne Forte. Al is survived by his wife Laurie, Daughter Jamie, future Son-In-Law David Hammond, Brother Dr. Robert Forte (Patty), Sister-In-Law Diane Rexford (Paul) and Rae Monchnik (Scott). Al is also survived by Nieces and Nephews Colleen George, Robert Forte, Brian Forte, Jason Rexford, Maddie and Jared Monchnik. Al and Laurie built an incredible life and home in Grand Rapids, MI for 25 years, later calling Cave Creek, AZ home in 2013. After his early retirement, Al was a 18 year board member of SoundOff Single. Albert was an avid supporter and fan of Michigan State Athletics. Al will be remembered for his humor, generosity, love for his family and loyalty to his friends. Visitation will be February 17th and 18th from 2pm-8pm at the Cave Creek home of Al & Laurie.
