Ann Marie Theil, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed into eternal life on Thursday, February 18, 2021. While biking with her husband, Steve, she was fatally hit by a car. Ann was a vivacious lover of life, a creative seamstress and designer who owned her own business. She was also an avid exercise enthusiast, who enjoyed biking, walking, and weight training. She was a consummate homemaker who loved cooking, baking, decorating, and entertaining. Ann was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She and her husband were childhood sweethearts and enjoyed 55 happy years of marriage. Ann was a loyal friend to many with a faithful servant heart. She loved doing things for others, and never sought the limelight. She was a lifelong Lutheran and lived her faith by example.
She is survived by her husband Steve, her brother Dave, daughter Kristi and son-in-law Andrew, son Thad and daughter-in-law Karen, daughter Faith and son-in-law Devin, and five wonderful grandchildren, Austin, Luke, Jack, Hannah, and Sophie.
There will be a private family visitation at Messinger Mortuary Pinnacle Peak on Monday, February 22, at 9:30 am, followed by a graveside service at Paradise Memorial Gardens in Scottsdale at 11:00 am.
