Died peacefully at home January 6, 2020. Born in Clifton Heights, PA, on August 22, 1929, he spent his early years on the shore in Wildwood Crest, NJ. Upon graduation from high school, he entered the USAF and served during the Korean War. On his return, he developed and owned motels on the Wildwood shore and eventually moved with his family to Phoenix in 1959 where he was a contractor owning BJConcrete until retirement. He restored and renovated the La Vista Grande Resort on Camelback. He loved preparing and serving his “famous” white pizza to family and friends and sharing Italian phrases, wine and heritage. He leaves behind his wife Susan, son Michael Bada, daughters Lesa Etter and Pamela Bada. Grandchildren Art Etter, Julia Seng, Ariana Holt, Emily Jones, Esseri Holmes and 12 great grandchildren. Internment services will be at the National Memorial Cemetery. There will be a gathering celebrating his life to be announced at a later date. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
