Cynthia J Dandelles 59 passed away on October 5, 2020 peacefully in her sleep.
Cyndie was born in Joliet, Illinois on September 22, 1961, to her late parents, George and Marie Dandelles.
As a career educator, Cyndie earned a BA in Education and a MA in Elementary Education. She began her teaching career at Phoenix Advantage Charter School before accepting an adventurous opportunity to teach in a school in Japan and China.
When Cyndie returned to the United States, she focused her practice on serving kids in the greater Phoenix area. She prided herself on being passionate about the quality for her students and creating opportunities for success of diverse learners.
Cyndie was a devoted member of the Greek Orthodox Church. She ha made life long friendships from youth group to adulthood. Her greatest role was being a Nouna, Aunt, for her three nieces, Jennifer Burns, Alexis Wohrle, and Nicole Dandelles.
Cyndie is survived by her beloved big brother Dean. He was her best friend and rock she depended on. Her constant companion was Popcorn, a fluffy 6-pound poodle. If you knew Cyndie, you would always hear stories of little Popcorn.
