Obituary
Laurie Kaplan Milka, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 2, 2023, in Carefree, AZ, after her courageous battle with cancer. Laurie was born in New York City, to Florence and Adrian Kaplan, on May 2, 1955.
Survived by her husband of 30 years Dave Milka, and children Adam (Mary) Seils, Erica (London) Anderson, Brianna Milka, and two grandchildren; Michelle and Adrian Seils, as well as her sister Lesley (Rob) Harris.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Adrian and Florence Kaplan.
She was a senior sales executive at Abbott Labs and Johnson & Johnson. She was a recipient of numerous prestigious awards and recognition within her industry. She was a respected colleague who earned the admiration and respect of all her peers.
Laurie loved to bake, and cook, but more important to her was family.
Being recently retired, she enjoyed spending her time with her grandchildren, as well as antiquing, enjoying the outdoors, the sunshine of AZ, decorating, and loving her two dogs Carlee and Amber.
She will be greatly missed by all those who had the opportunity and good fortune to have known her.
Laurie will be laid to rest at Paradise Memorial Gardens in Scottsdale, AZ.
