Lori Anne Hough, born in Flint, Michigan, November 27th, 1956, was a caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Taking in any stray or lonely heart, Lori enjoyed taking care of others first until she left this world unexpectedly on August 26th, 2021, in Scottsdale, Arizona at the young age of 64.
Lori’s greatest joy in life was her family, love of animals, and the local art/music scene. Lori actively participated in supporting animal rights and shelters in the Phoenix Valley and local artists. In addition to animals, her passion for traveling and experiencing the world brought her great joy. Throughout her life, it was not unusual for her to hop in her car and explore some new part of the southwest.
Lori enjoyed her career in the medical industry where she worked for 10 years. Never afraid to take on something new, she took pride in providing quality services, learning, and growing in her field.
In addition to her parents, Lori was predeceased by a brother, Bobby. Surviving is her only son, Jason and his wife, Star; four grandchildren, Mason, Cassidy, Jaxon, and Liam; one great grandchild, Lyla; and two sisters Susie and Sherri.
A Celebration of Life and reception will be held 11a.m. Monday, Sept 13 at Messinger Mortuary, 7601 E Indian School Rd, Scottsdale, AZ, 85251.
