Obituary
On Saturday, July 30, 2022, Dr. Rahul K. Reddy, prominent Retinal Surgeon in Scottsdale, passed away at the age of 47. Rahul was born on March 25, 1975 and has lived in Scottsdale since 2011.
Rahul was committed to his work and research, making significant contributions to the knowledge, techniques, and teaching of retinal surgery. He was well acclaimed both locally and nationally and loved by his peers, staff and patients. He also had a passion for basketball, tennis, public speaking, and advancing the medical world. He thrived being around his family, friends, patients, and people, and impacted many lives this way.
Rahul is survived by his two daughters Diya (19) and Mira (13), his brother Rajiv Reddy and his family (Kate, Nikhil, Meena, Zara), and his parents, Dr. Damodar and Mrs. Swarna Reddy
A memorial service will be held in his honor on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at 10am.
In lieu of flowers, we would ask that donations be made in his memory to the American Macular Degeneration Foundation.
