Obituary

Robert “Bob” Paul Churchill passed away on April 10, 2022 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Bob was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, and brother. Robert was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1925 to Walter Churchill and Harriet Baker Churchill. After high school, Bob served in the U.S. Navy from 1943-1945. Upon completing his service, Bob went on to attend and graduate from the University of Pittsburgh Class of 1953 with a B.S. in Pharmacy. Bob then opened Churchill’s Pharmacy in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania where he faithfully served his local community as the neighborhood pharmacist. Bob, together with his beloved wife Betty, raised their children, Robert Jr., James, Deborah, and William. Throughout his life, Bob was an active member of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry and the Shriners organizations. In 1981, Bob and Betty retired to Scottsdale, Arizona to enjoy the warm weather and mountain views. 

Bob is preceded in death by his parents and sons Robert Paul Churchill Jr. and William Patrick Churchill. Bob is survived by his wife Betty Churchill, daughter Deborah Churchill Lynch and her husband John, son James Churchill and his wife Doreen, and extended family.
