Our Services

Here to every way.

In addition to the emotional healing that the funeral service provides, there is another, equally important dimension to funeral planning.

It is personalization. Our professional, licensed funeral directors work closely with you to create a truly memorable tribute to the person who died. Using displays of cherished possessions, tribute videos, photo arrays, and special music selections, we can help plan a service that reflects the meaning of the life that has been lived.

Because our staff is familiar with the customs and traditions of many faiths and cultures, you can be assured that your service will be both meaningful and appropriate. You can also count on us to listen to your needs and offer options to stay within your budget.

Please ask about the many ways we assist you in honoring your loved one.

Burial The Traditional Choice

Burial is the most traditional form of tribute and final disposition. It may take place in the ground, or in an above-ground structure called a mausoleum, where the casket is sealed inside a compartment, or crypt.

Whether in-ground or above, burial offers many ways to honor and commemorate the life that has been lived.

  • Memorial services at the grave site...even music.
  • A wide selection of personalized caskets and containers.
  • Many choices of final resting places, such as Paradise Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum or Mountain Meadows Memorial Park.
  • Commemorative opportunities with monuments, headstones, markers, and plaques.
  • Traditional funeral or memorial services at your church, Messinger Chapels, or location of choice.

The choices are as beautiful as they are varied, and we are here to help you with your decisions.

The extra care and support we offer families does not end after the service. We understand that when a loss occurs, the healing process may not begin right away. Often, you or another family member needs support in dealing with the strong emotions of grief, loss, and bereavement. We’re here to help.

We offer:

  • Our monthly “CareLetter” to assist you through the first year of bereavement
  • Referrals to counselors, emotional health professionals and grief support groups
  • Helpful literature and other resources on grief and bereavement
  • Holiday remembrance services and other community events, such as our Easter Sunrise services at Paradise Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum and Mountain Meadows Memorial Park, Christmas memorial services at Messinger Payson Funeral Home, and Memorial Day and Veterans Day remembrances at several of our locations.
  • Special events such as Apple Basket Day that takes place the first week of every December at Messinger Indian School Mortuary. Participants give their time to fill baskets will fruits, nuts, and other snacks and distribute them to fire and police stations; hospitals, hospices, and nursing homes and parishes and convents throughout the Northeast Valley.
