Her name is Anne Newton. Some of you know her as mom; some of you know her as grandma, cousin, sister, and daughter. All of you knew her as friend ... your friend. To me (Darwin) she was the love of my life, my closest friend, the one who walked with me for almost 48 years in the spirit of oneness, a oneness that can only come through the Lord Jesus Christ. She was born in Lexington, Nebraska on November 24, 1950. On the morning of March 11, 2018 Jesus wrapped her in His arms and took her to live forever with Him. She left such a strong legacy behind in the form of four beautiful, so very precious children, and their strong, supportive, loving spouses - Amy (Steve) Majeski, Angela (David)Lewerke, Alyssa (Tim) Wall and Adam (Lindsey) Newton. And 11 so very wonderful and ever so precious grandchildren that will carry on her legacy of love, caring, respect, full of life and the presence of Christ - Ally Majeski, Brian Lewerke, Courteney Lewerke, Trevor Majeski, Brett Lewerke, Karissa Majeski, Gwyneth Wall, Cora Wall, Jensen Wall, Monty Newton and Jasper Newton. She will forever be missed here on earth, but this is only the short life, the long one Anne is enjoying now. A memorial service and a celebration of her life in Christ will take place on Saturday morning March 17th at 10:30 at Highlands Church, 9050 E Pinnacle Peak Rd., Scottsdale, Arizona 85255 (highlandschurch.org) Arrangements entrusted to Messinger Pinnacle Peak Mortuary.
