Daniel C Willis was born in Amarillo, Texas on January 16,1953 and passed away peacefully at home on November 20,2019. Graveside service will be celebrated at high noon on Monday, November 25, 2019 at Paradise Memorial Gardens, 9300 E Shea Blvd, Scottsdale, AZ. His family lived in Alaska for a year in 1959 then back to the lower 48 and made their way to Arizona when he was 7. He enlisted in the US Army in 1972 and served in Korea as a Crew Chief on Huey Helicopters. After his enlistment was complete he returned to Arizona and joined the family clothing manufacturing business, Carefree Fashions. He helped grow the business as he worked alongside his Father Berwin, Mom, Bea and brother Dennis. He is survived by Dianna his wife of 43 years, his sons Danny and Joe, Daughter Mary Lee, Daughter-in-law Wendy and Beautiful Grand children Benjamin, Calvin and Olivia. He also had many cousins in Yuma, and Denver Colorado, Amarillo area of Texas and Albuquerque, NM.He was a long time member of the Choir at Scottsdale Bible Church. He had a passion for singing and a voice of an angel. He loved camping, fishing and boating, was real outdoorsman. After the family business closed he moved to Lake Havasu and work with his buddy Bill Boyer on Havasu Hot Air for 5 years. The humor they had on the air made every event funny and fun. He was just a fun ole guy all around. He will truly be missed by everyone.
