Native Staten Islander Donato Pucciarelli died peacefully at age 88, on February 10, 2018. Donato was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. Donato was preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Blanche. He is survived by his daughters Donna Lauro (late husband John) and Theresa Lo Bianco (husband Guy), grandchildren Carissa and Vincent Lo Bianco, John, Mary, Angela, and Dan Lauro. He was preceded in death by his loving sister Rose, and his brothers Anthony, Lorenzo, Joseph, and Pat. Donato (Dan) grew up in Rosebank, and was a parishioner at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, Rosebank. He graduated from McKee High School, worked as a printer and retired from Solomon Bros. in 1992. Dan and Blanche were Fort Wadsworth residents for almost 30 years before relocating to Paradise Valley, Arizona in 2000. Donato treasured his family and especially loved being with both of his daughters in Arizona. He will be greatly missed by his family. A memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Scottsdale, AZ on Saturday, February 17th at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Scottsdale. Arrangements entrusted to Messinger Indian School Mortuary.
