Margaret Anne Neff, age 83, of Scottsdale, Arizona passed away peacefully on the morning of April 23, 2018 with family by her side. Margaret was born to Stanley and Bessie Angelcyk in Kewanee, Illinois. In June of 1962, she married the love of her life, Howard Neff, and for their honeymoon, drove out to Phoenix, Arizona to start their new life together. Howard and Margaret spent almost 56 years together in marriage. Margaret attended Pittsburg State University earning a degree in biology and chemistry. She went on to teach elementary and high school math and science in the Kansas City area. Upon moving to Phoenix with Howard, she earned her Masters in Education at Arizona State University and taught math and science at Ingleside Middle School. Margaret enjoyed golf, tennis and bridge. She was a former PTA president, Good Sam Hospital Auxiliary president and a Scottsdale Girls Club director. Most importantly, Margaret loved her children and grandkids. Margaret is survived by her brother James Angelcyk (Janice) of Houston, TX, sons Scott (Lori) and Bryan (Mary), and her daughter Elizabeth (Mark), plus six grandkids Jared (Kiersten), Zach, Alexa, Ellie, Lily and Drew. Arrangements have been entrusted to Messinger Indian School Mortuary. A private family ceremony is planned. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Alzheimer’s Association of America.
