88, of Scottsdale, Az passed away peacefully on Sept 8, 2017. Beryl was born in Birmingham, U.K in 1928, lived in Nottingham with her family, and moved to Arizona in 1971. She is survived by her daughters, Lesley King (Paul), Denise Brazier (Don) and Pauline King, her brother Robin Payne (Mavis), her grandchildren, Richard Spray (Elaina), Rachel Mahmoud (Samir), Nicole Pinnock, Alicia Harvey (Jeremy), Brittany Garza (Aidan), Paige O’Daniel, Lee Brazier (Ang), Shay Brazier (Jo) and Tim Brazier (Joce), her extended Payne family, and 13 great-grandchildren. Beryl was best friends with Carolyn Thompson, her penfriend, during WWII and they ran an art gallery until 1976 when Carolyn died. Beryl worked in healthcare/building development and loved the Arts and books. Her service will be at Beryl’s beloved church of 20 years, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Scottsdale, Az 85251 on October 14th at 1pm; this is where she sang in the choir, was in Sodality, and ran the St. Patrick’s Day function. Reception follows the funeral in the Rhoady Lee Church Hall. Flowers care of Messinger Mortuary, 7601 E Indian School Rd, Scottsdale, Az 85251.
