Scottsdale – Jerry Kraschinsky, 58, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away unexpectedly on October 8, 2020. Jerry was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on December 17, 1961. He graduated from Marion Pleasant High School in Marion, Ohio and graduated The Ohio State University in 1986 with a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from State University of New York at Buffalo in 1999.
Jerry began his career at Moog Aerospace in 1983 as an Engineering intern in Buffalo, NY and was most recently the Director of Regional Business for the Moog Aircraft Group and the Space/Defense Group accumulating 37 years of loyal service to the same company, a rarity in today’s business world. Jerry was bigger than life and a Moog legend for his great contribution to the Company’s culture of innovation and entrepreneurial spirit.
Jerry married the love of his life, Martha (“Marta”) Alicia Murguia on August 2, 2013. Early in their courtship, Jerry and Martha realized they were each other’s Guardian Angels. Jerry loved his children and always enjoyed being with them on vacation trips, holidays or just for weekend visits. Jerry was funny, the life of the party, a social butterfly, a great father and husband, had an amazing smile and loved his family and friends to the moon. He was also so very giving, a mentor and super welcoming. To Martha’s family and friends, he was affectionally known as oso blanco grande and chingon (pain in the a__) but truly loveable. Jerry enjoyed golf with friends and loved the Green Bay Packers and The Ohio State University Buckeyes.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife Marta and children Yvette of Scottsdale, Zack of Agoura Hills, CA and Nikki of Woodland Hills CA; Father, Ted (Linda) of Sunbury, OH; brothers, John (Aimee) of San Jose, CA, Duff (Margie) of Marion, OH, Jim (Julie) of Brookfield, WI, and Jay (Jenni) of Tampa, FL and many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces and sister-in-laws Cecilia (German) Fuentes and Veronica Murguia and former wife Julie Kraschinsky, mother of Zack and Nikki, of Agoura Hills. Jerry was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Janet.
Our great memories of Jerry will live on forever in our hearts. Te amo Jerry. We love you Jerry.
