Michael Monte, 92, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away on March 23, 2021. Mike was born August 16, 1928 in Brooklyn, NY to Catherine and Cosmo. He is survived by his daughter, Lucille, and a loving family of in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews. He survived his sister, Nicolina, and his brothers, Frank, Anthony, Peter and Phil. He is now reunited with the love of his life, his wife Anne. Mike walked many journeys serving in the Merchant Marines, the U.S. Army as Military Police in Germany, MP security at the Palace of Justice in Nuremberg, his tenure as a volunteer New York City Policeman, the owner and operator of the exquisite Piano Lounge in Brooklyn, his sixty-five year career as a Bar and Beverage Manager in New York and the Desert Forest in Carefree, Arizona. We remember his deep, beautiful singing voice, his hearty laugh, his fun-filled nature, his love of family and friends, and his unconditional generosity. He will be in our hearts forever. A “Covid-conscious” Memorial Service will be held in the Mausoleum at Paradise Memorial Gardens, 9300 East Shea Blvd., Scottsdale, AZ 85260 on Friday, April 9th at 2:00 PM.
