Robert (Bob) M. Aran 91, Scottsdale, Arizona, passed away on October 5, 2021.Bob was born on November 3, 1929 Detroit, Michigan, moved to Santa Monica with his family when he was 14, attended Santa Monica High School, Santa Monica City College playing on their A tennis team. Started Law School at Southwestern when he was drafted to the Army Communication Division and served in Korea for two years rank of Sergeant. Returning resumed his education at Southwestern, BA from Pepperdine Univ. After graduation married Barbara Kramer Davis with whom he had two sons, Jeffrey (Cairn), Keith. Starting his law practice in Santa Monica and later in Beverly Hills. Served as Chairman of the Executive Committee of Public Law Section of the State Bar of Californian. Author of Chapter 2.5 of California Business and Professional Code, helped Governor Deukmejian in 1983 author bill. Past President Pacific Palisades B’nai B’rith and Bay Area Jewish Community Center. Served as Legal Counsel for 30 years for California Sign Association. In 1971 married Natalie DeSure. In 1998 retired to Scottsdale Arizona. Served as member of City of Scottsdale Redevelopment Board, Judge Pro Tem at San Tan Court House. Member of Troon Country Club since 1993. Bob loved to play golf, dance with his wife and fan of the Los Angeles Lakers holding season tickets since they arrived in LA. Robert was predeceased by his parents Irwin and Celia. Survived by wife Natalie, children Jeffrey (Cairn), Keith, Kari Dart (Sean), and Kym Valene. Brother Kenneth (Marge), Sister-in-Law Mona De Sure. Grandchildren, Michael, Michelle, Jessie, Samantha, Aldo and Cienna, cousins Joan Feldman (Paul), Larry Aran (Reisa) plus nephew and nieces.
